The Waltz Weekend combines waltz technique and variations with secrets for great partnering.
The material surpasses that offered in the Dance Division's social dance classes and will include:

• Viennese Waltz • New Cross-Step Waltz variations • Pivaloops in Rotary and Cross-Step Waltz • Waltz Variations taken from Salsa • 5/4 Waltz and other 5/4 dances • Dickens Waltz & Polka variations |

THE SCHEDULE:
Friday workshop 7-9pm
Waltz Jammix dance party Friday 9-10:30pm, open only to Waltz Weekend participants.
Saturday workshop 9am-4:30pm, with a lunch break.
Saturday night dance at Roble 8:30-11:00pm, open only to Waltz Weekend participants.
Sunday workshop 10am-2pm.

Experience Level: Intermediate or higher
Prerequirement: Know a basic turning waltz (any kind)
Tuition: $90 per person.
THE SETTING: The Roble Studio

features one of the largest sprung wooden dance floors in Northern California. The cool, sunny
South Bay climate has proven to be ideal for both indoor and outdoor settings.
HOUSING: There is no on-campus housing for the mid-year Waltz
Weekends, sorry. Here's a
list of local motels, or you may have a friend you can stay with.
