Friday night November 14 through Sunday afternoon November 16, 2008

A total immersion in waltzing, the most romantic partner dance of all.

Taught by Richard Powers and Angela Amarillas

The Waltz Weekend combines waltz technique and variations with secrets for great partnering.  The material surpasses that offered in the Dance Division's social dance classes and will include:
  Viennese Waltz
     New Cross-Step Waltz variations
Pivaloops in Rotary and Cross-Step Waltz
           Waltz Variations taken from Salsa
5/4 Waltz and other 5/4 dances
                 Dickens Waltz & Polka variations

Read DESCRIPTIONS of the Waltz Weekend by past participants.
