at the Prague Vintage Dance Week





  What is steampunk?
Steampunk is the realm of historical science fiction that explores alternative futures from
19th century steam-driven technology, including the worlds of Jules Verne and H. G. Wells.


   What is the Steampunk Ball?


This will be a Victorian Futurists Ball, complete with time travel, which will enable ballgoers
to journey to ballrooms from the Renaissance to the future.

The ball will include a candlelight dinner and tours of the caves, machinery and sewers.

Your finest Steampunk attire will be admired but is optional.  Dress for any era of time travel.


  The setting
The ball will be held in Prague's steam technology museum in the old water treatment plant.
