The Stanford Dance Weekend combines dance technique and variations with secrets for great partnering.
The material surpasses that offered in the Dance Division's social dance classes and will include:

• Fusion Waltz/Swing/Salsa • Cross-Step and other Waltz variations • Blues Steps and Stylings • Latin and social ballroom dance • Tango • Lindy Hop and Sweet Lindy •Turns and Spins, Dips and Drops |

THE SCHEDULE:
Friday workshop 7-9pm
Dance party Friday 9-10:30pm, open only to Dance Weekend participants.
Saturday workshop 9am-4:30pm
Saturday night dance party 8:30-10:30pm
Sunday workshop 10am-2pm
Sunday night closing dance with live music by the
Brassworks Band, 8pm

Syllabi
Experience Level:
Intermediate or higher
Prerequirement:
Know a partnered dance of any kind (waltz, swing, salsa, tango or similar).
Tuition:
$100 per person for the Stanford Dance Weekend.
There is a $50 discount for those taking both the Dance Weekend and Historical Dance Week.
$350 for the Historical Dance Week, which includes all classes, seminars and evening events.
$400 for both.
The low tuition is made possible by support from the Friends of Dance at Stanford.
THE SETTING: The Roble Studio

features one of the largest sprung wooden dance floors in Northern California. The cool, sunny
South Bay climate has proven to be ideal for both indoor and outdoor settings.
