Tuesday nights    April 3 to May 15, 2012

A seven-week series of classes held at the First United Methodist Church, downtown Palo Alto
(only 12 minutes from campus by bike, 8 minutes by car)

Taught by Richard Powers with Mirage Marrou

   TANGO!    
 7 pm    Going quickly from basic tango to new figures,
  styling, classic Golden Age tangos and the newest
  twists, finishing with the basics Valse Cruzado. 
  
   Intermediate to Advanced  
    SALSA and also ChaCha  
 8 pm   New figures in noncompetitive Salsa and ChaCha!  
  These two dances have interchangeable figures,  
  so we will be able to go very far in seven weeks.

   Intermediate to Advanced 
      CROSS-STEP WALTZ  
 9 pm   This is an explosively creative year for cross-step  
  waltz, with innovations arising from around the world.
  Learn more than 40 variations that are new this year.  
  



       $35 for students     $50 for non-students     for each of the three courses.
       That's the same per-night as the 5-week series.
       (These are the same prices the Thursday night Stanford classes cost in 1995.)    

       Each of the three courses is comprised of seven Tuesday night classes.

       Take one, two or all three courses (7, 8 and/or 9 pm).
       Come with or without a partner.
