ZigZagSteps presents its annual vintage dance workshop
led by Richard Powers

This year for the ball, dance in cinema will be honored.         We will dance to music from famous films.      Feel free to come dressed as your favorite      cinema character, from any style or period.

The September 10th Vintage Dance Workshop will run           from 10 am to 5pm in the ballroom of the pavillon du       Cambodge, at the Cité Universitaire Internationale.      • Donella Tango      • Gattopardo Mazurka Mixer      • Waltz, new variations      • Midnight Tango      • Cross-Step Boston Waltz      • 1937 Big Apple      • Margaret's Waltz      • One-Step, new variations       followed by a Cinema Ball, from 8pm to midnight.

The workshop on the 10th will focus on Ragtime and Jazz Era dances which are among Richard's specialties.    Richard's classes will be partnered by Mirage Marrou. You can picnic on the spot or to go to nearby restaurants for the lunch break. The cafeteria is also open, with food for a small fee. Refreshments, snacks and sweets will be served at the ball. For organizational reasons, please register in advance. Rates: Workshop alone: 65 € Ball alone: 35 € Ball and Workshop: 80 € Half price for students.
