Our house on the hill (a double lot) at sunrise, which makes the grey house look yellow.

"Powers Street"

How the house looked before, with rotting siding, walled-in lower deck and shallow concrete steps.

Before...

And after, with two new decks, replaced siding, slate steps and new colors.

Finished on Halloween.

An airy and sunny space.

The perfect kitchen - 6 burners, double oven and a pastry counter.
Behind Tracey and Trogdor are Fred and Ginger -- the double fridge & freezer. Fred's the one on the right.

Sunday morning practice.

Look who has sprouted up. Evan is 13 and Nathaniel is 16.

Singing along with mandolin and ukelele.

The absinthe collection finally has a home.

As do the dance manuals.

And the concert grand piano finally has a home.

A mural-sized 1914 Parisian Bal Bullier poster next to the piano (the dancers are almost life-sized).

...with the classic 1894 Bal Bullier poster upstairs.

and some of the dance prints which are finally out of the file drawers.

The brighter green tree to the right of center is at the edge of our property, then down beyond that is Far Creek.
Then the hill rises to the neighbor's house. The mountains in the background are the Santa Cruz, looking south.

We love our view. It's quiet day and night... just birds and crickets.

Our view farther to the left — Atherton, Menlo Park and Palo Alto buried in trees. San Francisco Bay beyond.

The entire range as seen from our deck. We love watching the sun and moon rise over this range.

Fog covering Silicon Valley at sunrise.

Approaching sunset.
